Learning Outcomes
  1. Learners will be able to recognize and describe typical developmental milestones in children aged 0-36 months and 3-5 years, as well as identify signs of atypical development that may require intervention.
  2. Learners will gain an understanding of how cultural factors, including language and cultural practices, influence child development in early childhood settings, fostering culturally responsive care and learning environments.
  3. Learners will be able to apply principles of child development to create developmentally appropriate practices and activities that support optimal learning and growth for all children in their care.
